Staff Software Engineer

At Moloco, you will work on building a state-of-the-art mobile advertising platform that leverages the latest advancements in machine learning and big data. You will collaborate with a team of world-class engineers to design and develop infrastructure that is highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable. Our platform uses battle-tested prediction models to help businesses of all sizes achieve their growth goals quickly and efficiently.

As the founding technical leader for the Performance Ad Server, you will be working with a team of seasoned technology veterans & entrepreneurs to bring this revolutionary new platform to market. Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving engineering projects for architecting, designing, developing, and operating an end-to-end service platform
• Building, growing, and leading a full stack engineering team
• Owning all development & operational aspects of PAS engineering
• Collaborating with Product Management, Business Development, and Enterprise Sales teams
• Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans & strategies

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 12+ years of hands-on industry experience in software development on data infrastructure or platform
• Experience building large scale distributed systems
• Excellent software development skills and fluency in at least one programming language (preferably Java, Go or Python)
• Experience as a team lead, comfortable mentoring senior, mid and junior engineers
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and strategic planning
• Experience in Cloud/Big Data platforms
