MongoDB, the leading developer data platform, is seeking a Principal Consulting Engineer for their Professional Services (PS) team in Gurugram. This role is part of the Services Delivery Enablement (SDE) team and focuses on technical enablement of MongoDB's PS partner ecosystem worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with MongoDB platform and related technologies, along with a background in software development, consulting, or support. They should be proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and have experience with various databases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering technical enablement programs for PS partners
- Collaborating with PS Partner Managers to foster relationships within the partner ecosystem
- Creating in-depth enablement content and delivering technical training
- Supporting the development of new PS offerings
- Building and maintaining playbooks and best practices

Responsibilities For Principal Consulting Engineer
- Evaluate training requirements and develop technical enablement programs
- Work closely with MongoDB PS Partner Managers to foster relationships with PS partner ecosystem
- Develop engaging, accurate, in-depth enablement content
- Deliver technical training to PS partner stakeholders, consulting engineers, developers and database administrators
- Support the development of new and revised PS offerings
- Build out and support crowd-sourcing of playbooks, best practices and other technical consulting resources
- Ensure MongoDB PS partners and internal consulting engineers have access to necessary systems and resources
Requirements For Principal Consulting Engineer
- 3+ years experience of MongoDB platform and related technologies
- 2+ years of software development/consulting/support experience
- 2+ years of experience in enterprise technology professional services
- Competence in at least one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, C++, C#, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Perl, Scala, Go
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
