(Senior) Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

As a (Senior) Backend Engineer, you'll join one of our dynamic Engineering teams in Berlin, Warsaw, or Tallinn, working on critical areas like Sales Enablement, Pricing & Billing, Acquisition, Spend Management, or Activation & Card Spend.

Your role will involve:

• Leading backend development, ensuring alignment with product requirements and performance standards
• Collaborating closely with PMs and designers during project planning
• Partnering with frontend engineers to determine APIs and functionality
• Producing well-tested, reliable code with unit and functional tests
• Monitoring performance and addressing issues proactively

We're looking for candidates with:

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, leading end-to-end projects
• Proficiency in Java and related technologies (Spring framework, microservices, etc.)
• Strong understanding of development design patterns and REST API principles
• Experience with testing approaches and libraries
• Fluency in English
