SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Motive is seeking a meticulous SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to design and implement automated tests and test environments for Motive products. This role is crucial in ensuring technology functions efficiently, minimizes errors, and meets software quality goals.

The ideal candidate will:

• Monitor automation metrics for continuous quality & process improvements
• Collaborate with various teams to understand automation needs
• Lead programmatic best practices and be a hands-on programmer
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project automation schedules
• Contribute to and maintain test automation framework development

Requirements include:

• 2-3 years of strong experience in test automation for Backend and Dashboard
• Expert knowledge in programming languages like Java or Python
• Experience with software development best practices
• Proven ownership and delivery of automation for sizable products
• Ability to work with large codebases and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of CI/CD environments and tools
• Proficiency in version control tools like Git
• Working knowledge of SQL, AWS, and Database Systems
