Senior Software Engineer - QA Solutions

Motive is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - QA Solutions to join their Solutions Engineering team. This role involves designing components and services for new feature developments, implementing scalable architecture, and working on critical projects for fleet tracking and real-time insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong CS background and be a natural team player.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating test plans and performing testing on multiple devices and platforms
• Planning and executing verification of features for weekly releases
• Taking ownership of QA artifacts and process improvements
• Aiding in retrospecting possible customer issues
• Identifying and documenting defects in web and mobile applications
• Taking ownership of E2E testing

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile Testing Life Cycles
• Experience in both manual testing and automation
• Understanding of Software Design Specifications
• Ability to create various test cases
• Basic knowledge of Rest/SOAP API
• Knowledge of issue tracking tools (preferably JIRA)
• Understanding of OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms
