Description For Sales Engineer

MotorK is the leading sales and marketing technology company in Europe, specialising in the automotive sector. Our mission is to empower manufacturers and dealerships to sell more with innovative, cloud-based products and services to offer the best digital customer experience. We are serving 90% of the automotive manufacturers and looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join our Sales team based in Antwerp, Belgium.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical qualification, solution design, and proposal support to the commercial and client services teams. You will act as a product specialist, providing consultancy for the installation, configuration, and use of our SaaS platform, website solution, and digital products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to Sales teams in proposal development, pre-sales, and post-sales activities
  • Offering product, business, and technical knowledge for sales activities
  • Acting as the technical bridge between MotorK and (potential) clients
  • Supporting Sales executives in assessing prospective customers' needs
  • Ensuring high-quality responses to RFPs and RFIs
  • Providing solution architecture based on customer requirements
  • Liaising with Product management to build bespoke solutions
  • Representing the product at events like conferences and seminars
  • Handling client workshops, demos, and internal training
  • Coordinating Professional Services activities with 3rd party suppliers

The ideal candidate will have strong pre-sales experience in handling complex customized SaaS solutions within the digital industry. You should be fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Technical understanding of digital technologies and an eye for detail are essential.

Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Provide technical support to Sales teams in proposal development, pre-sales and post-sales activities

  • Be the technical bridge between MotorK & its (potential) clients

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Native Dutch, fluent French and English
  • Proven Pre-sales experience in handling complex customised SaaS solutions within the digital industry
  • Ability to handle technical conversations externally & internally
  • Capability of managing and negotiating expectations & requirements of customers
  • Intuitive mindset with the ability to ask the right questions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strength in building work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Technical understanding of digital technologies
  • Eye for detail, confident and good presentation style
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, proactive and capable of working under pressure
