The position offers a hybrid work arrangement for Nashville-based employees, with 2-3 days in office bi-weekly. The role encompasses SDK design, development, documentation, and team leadership. Key responsibilities include creating robust, scalable SDKs, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and ensuring seamless integration support.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in multiple programming languages, have experience with financial APIs like Stripe or PayPal, and possess strong communication skills. They'll work with cross-functional teams, manage SDK lifecycles, and stay current with industry trends.

Responsibilities For Sr. SDK Developer

  • Design, architect, and develop robust and scalable SDKs for our platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
  • Create comprehensive documentation for SDKs
  • Assist developers in integrating and troubleshooting SDK usage
  • Develop and execute testing strategies for SDKs
  • Implement version control and manage backward compatibility
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates
  • Lead a small to mid-size team

Requirements For Sr. SDK Developer

  • 5-7 years of experience writing cross-platform software
  • Experience in Financial Technology space
  • Knowledge of major financial system APIs (Stripe, PayPal, Tipalti, or Dwolla)
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages (.Net, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, C++, Python)
  • Experience with version control systems and continuous integration tools
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications v3.1.0+
  • Experience with Postman
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
