MP Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Senior Developer to join their Hungarian team as part of an international development effort. As a Senior Developer, you'll be part of a global virtual team collaborating with NY and offshore members, focusing on architecture evaluation, solution delivery, and mentoring junior developers. The position requires expertise in Java, Kafka, and RESTful APIs, with a strong emphasis on full software development lifecycle and financial domain knowledge. Responsibilities For Senior Developer
- Evaluate the Project's architecture and identify opportunities for broadening the scope of the solution
- Work with senior Business Partners and Program Management team to deliver the solution
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality
- Ensure adherence to the standard SDLC processes
- Ensure all Technology and Information Risk guidelines are followed
- Mentor junior team members
- Work with application support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and support processes
Requirements For Senior Developer
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 5+ years of development experience in high paced, pressure-oriented environment
- Full software development life cycle experience
- Expert at Java, Kafka, MQ and RESTful API's
- Experience testing software (unit testing, testing frameworks)
- Comfortable with source control tools, preferably Git
- Experience with web service development and Services Oriented Architecture
- Experience working with Agile development teams at scale
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
- Experience with performance tuning, trouble shooting and remediation
- Experience in the financial domain and understanding of portfolio management functions
- Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
