Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you'll join an autonomous team focused on specific problem spaces within our backend development. The role offers a competitive compensation package of up to $325,000, including a base salary of $225,000 and equity grants. You'll be working on designing and developing high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems that power our platform's core functionality.

The position requires 6+ years of experience in commercial software development, with expertise in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go. You'll be responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex product features, building scalable applications, and mentoring other engineers. The role combines technical excellence with leadership opportunities, as you'll be expected to support and guide team members while maintaining system health and CI/CD pipelines.
