Description For Lead Data Platform Engineer
Multi Media LLC is a leader in digital innovation, creating modern products for the content creator community. Their main platform, Chaturbate, is a key player in the adult entertainment industry, connecting billions worldwide. They're seeking a Lead Data Platform Engineer to scale a data platform processing petabytes of data for analytics, data science, and machine learning teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the data platform team
- Administer Snowflake and other data infrastructure
- Be a subject-matter expert in data security, governance, and performance
- Collaborate with analytics and machine learning teams
- Manage team's daily operations
Requirements:
- Proven technical leadership in data engineering or infrastructure
- Deep expertise in ETL architecture and tools
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and Snowflake
- Nice to have: Experience with DBT, GCP, AWS, DataOps, and security
Benefits:

- Lead and provide ongoing mentorship and support to the data platform team
- Administer and manage Snowflake and other data infrastructure
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and decision-maker for data security, governance, and performance
- Collaborate with analytics and machine learning teams to ensure they have the tools and infrastructure to deliver game-changing data products
- Manage team's daily operations
Requirements For Lead Data Platform Engineer
- Proven technical leadership or management experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data infrastructure
- Deep expertise in ETL architecture and infrastructure tools
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modeling tools
- Excellent knowledge of Snowflake platform
- Experience with DBT (data build tool), GCP, and AWS (nice to have)
- Expertise in DataOps and security (nice to have)
