Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Multi Media LLC is seeking a remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer to elevate infrastructure resilience and optimize system performance. As a key player in their next phase of growth, you'll lead the enhancement of both physical and cloud-based systems, fostering innovation and efficiency across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance analysis to identify instability sources using APM and distributed telemetry data tools
• Analyze complex systems to minimize downtime
• Perform software engineering and patching to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Modify infrastructure in data center metal environments and public cloud
• Conduct predictive failure analysis and disaster planning
• Develop new tools and automation for DevOps pipeline
• Collaborate with other engineering teams
• Administer and configure databases and key-value stores
• Handle incident response and create postmortem reports

Requirements:

• STEM degree with relevant Site Reliability Engineer experience
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
• Expert in Unix/Linux environments and internals
• Strong networking knowledge for metal and cloud environments
• Experience in database administration and configuration
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
• Ability to handle on-call duties for monitoring and alerting core website functions
