Multiplica Talent is seeking a Backend Developer with extensive experience in Java SDK 11 or higher, proficiency in Spring Boot framework, and solid knowledge of databases and Docker. The role requires experience in managing and maintaining multiple APIs in a secure and dynamic environment. This is a 100% remote position open to candidates across LATAM, with preference for Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. English is not required. The position is for a Semi-Senior or Senior Java Developer who will be part of an agile team working under Sprint methodology. The ideal candidate will collaborate in developing and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions, focusing on security and best practices. Responsibilities For Backend Developer Java Spring Boot
- Develop, maintain and optimize multiple APIs using Java Spring Boot, ensuring efficiency and scalability
- Actively participate in all stages of the software lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and API functionality
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining constant communication and participating punctually in meetings
- Quickly adapt to a dynamic work environment, focusing efforts on different projects in an organized manner
- Implement secure and efficient solutions aligned with the company's core focus on security
Requirements For Backend Developer Java Spring Boot
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot (advanced proficiency)
- Experience in developing and maintaining multiple RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of software testing (unit, integration) and agile development methodologies
- Advanced mastery of JUnit for unit testing in Java (essential)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases and continuous integration tools
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Knowledge of cryptography and Cloud
- Experience with security tools and backend development best practices
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with distributed teams in LATAM
- Docker proficiency
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote teams
