Nalanda Engineering is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment in Madrid. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring software quality through comprehensive test automation, and collaborating with development teams in CI/CD processes. The role requires expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, and proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress. Responsibilities For QA Automation Engineer
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute automated tests to ensure software quality and performance
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and propose solutions
- Document test results and report defects clearly and precisely
- Maintain and update automated testing frameworks to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements For QA Automation Engineer
- Solid experience in software test automation
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or similar
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress or similar
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar
- Ability to identify, document and track defects
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
