Responsibilities For Senior Cell Development Engineer

  • Deliver data-driven design specifications based on tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Propose and lead efforts to improve design performance variation
  • Support cell performance characterization and test planning
  • Support cell component qualification test planning and execution

Requirements For Senior Cell Development Engineer

Python
  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in cell engineering, manufacturing, or development
  • In-depth knowledge of conventional battery technology, materials, and cell manufacturing processes
  • Basic familiarity with CAD (Solidworks), stage-gate development processes, and FMEA
  • Experience in design optimization based on analysis of production datasets and/or controlled DOEs
  • Understanding of key statistics principles including ANOVA, regression, & DOE
  • Expertise with statistical tools (JMP, Minitab, R, Python)
  • Familiarity with cell performance characterization methods
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent technical communication skills
