Software Engineer (Active Federal Security Clearance)

Nava is seeking a Software Engineer with an active Federal Security clearance to join our team. As a Software Engineer at Nava, you'll work on designing, reviewing, and building well-crafted software for government services. You'll collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements to existing ones.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing and implementing code
• Performing local testing
• Writing technical specifications
• Reviewing and providing feedback on pull requests
• Collaborating with internal and external engineers
• Participating in agile ceremonies like standups, refinements, and retrospectives
• Interfacing with clients to provide project updates and propose solutions

Required skills:

• 5 years of experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with web-based systems, both front-end and back-end
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and architecture
• Excellent communication skills
