Senior Backend Java Engineer

Nearsure is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Engineer to join their team. The role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native software applications, particularly for the Event Hub platform. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing high-quality code, participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and evaluating new cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience with AWS (ECS), Microservices and Architecture, CI/CD, Kubernetes and Docker
• 2+ years of experience with Kafka
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Advanced English proficiency
