WordPress Developer

Nearsure is seeking a WordPress Developer to join our remote team in Latin America. As a WordPress Developer, you'll be responsible for both back-end (PHP) and front-end development, enhancing and maintaining our web platforms. You'll collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences across WordPress platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, testing, and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Translating UI/UX designs into functional and responsive WordPress themes
• Optimizing website performance and ensuring cross-device compatibility
• Addressing security issues and troubleshooting website bugs
• Implementing SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and PHP
• 3+ years of experience with WordPress
• 1+ years of experience with Elementor
• Experience with custom WordPress plugins, post types, widgets, and REST API
• Advanced English level for effective communication with US clients
