Senior Software Engineer

Neon is seeking a design-minded Senior Software Engineer to join their founding team and lead development across one of their major work-streams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, is highly productive, and is full-stack with experience in AWS, TypeScript, and React. They should love React and be capable of turning a blank canvas into something functionally beautiful.

The role requires the ability to shape the product, team, culture, and company. The successful candidate will be expected to lead successful projects and level up those around them. They should be aligned with Neon's values and work style, realizing that it's possible to do things fast and with high quality.

The interview process is designed to be efficient and effective, consisting of 4-6 hours of interviews across 3 rounds over 2 weeks. This includes:

1. A 30-minute intro with the Head of Engineering
2. A 1-hour technical phone interview
3. A 4-hour "Meet the team" session, including technical sessions, collaboration sessions, and a behavioral interview
4. A final 60-minute meet and greet with the CEO
