QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, startup environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong QA mindset to lead quality assurance efforts on cutting-edge projects. This role requires a passion for evaluating quality, problem-solving, and building unique testing solutions to ensure the success of our software products.

This is not a traditional automation QA role. You will leverage your development skills to architect innovative quality solutions, think critically about building testing scripts, and ensure system stability, scalability, and performance. Your goal is to create an end-to-end quality strategy, working closely with developers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a developer with a focus on quality, building custom solutions and frameworks
• Develop and implement integration tests, test cases, and suites using Python
• Architect innovative testing solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build tools and frameworks for automated testing
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive testing coverage
• Drive adoption of best practices for code quality and continuous integration
• Create custom testing strategies for complex systems
• Mentor junior developers and provide continuous feedback for process improvement

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Python
• Ability to build testing solutions from the ground up
• Strong knowledge of software quality principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Strong developer mindset with focus on performance and code quality
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively
• Problem-solving skills and creativity to build non-traditional QA solutions

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience in Agile environments
• Experience in mentoring teams
