NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to lead their NetBox Enterprise product development. This role focuses on managing on-premise product suite deployment and lifecycle management. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160K-$180K plus equity and bonus opportunities.
The role involves designing and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions, developing management consoles, and creating robust CI/CD pipelines. You'll be working with Python primarily, with opportunities to work with Golang. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in enterprise-grade on-premise environments and 3+ years in B2B software startups.

Responsibilities For Senior Engineer (Software), On-Premise
- Design, architect, and implement Kubernetes-based, high-availability (HA) on-premise solutions
- Develop and maintain operational management console and associated tools
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Write high-quality, maintainable Python code for internal tooling, APIs, and automation
- Manage software versioning strategies and release processes
- Develop comprehensive documentation and deployment guidelines
- Collaborate with Customer Success and customers for issue resolution
- Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering teams
- Build internal tooling and APIs for integration testing
- Develop internal management tools for Customer Success
Requirements For Senior Engineer (Software), On-Premise
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-grade on-premise environments
- 3+ years of experience in B2B software startup
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and deployment automation
- Strong software development skills in Python
- Proven track record of successful project execution
- Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation tools
