Description For Senior Engineer (Software), On-Premise

NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to lead their NetBox Enterprise product development. This role focuses on managing on-premise product suite deployment and lifecycle management. The position offers a competitive salary range of $160K-$180K plus equity and bonus opportunities.

The role involves designing and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions, developing management consoles, and creating robust CI/CD pipelines. You'll be working with Python primarily, with opportunities to work with Golang. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in enterprise-grade on-premise environments and 3+ years in B2B software startups.

Responsibilities For Senior Engineer (Software), On-Premise

  • Design, architect, and implement Kubernetes-based, high-availability (HA) on-premise solutions
  • Develop and maintain operational management console and associated tools
  • Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Write high-quality, maintainable Python code for internal tooling, APIs, and automation
  • Manage software versioning strategies and release processes
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and deployment guidelines
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and customers for issue resolution
  • Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering teams
  • Build internal tooling and APIs for integration testing
  • Develop internal management tools for Customer Success

  • Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and deployment automation

  • Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation tools
