NetBox Labs, the commercial steward of open source NetBox, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in a crucial role focused on acquiring and growing new customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with the world's most popular network source of truth platform, combining technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities.
The role demands a unique blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen, requiring 3+ years of direct enterprise SE experience or 5+ years of total experience. You'll work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate across multiple teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving the technical aspects of Enterprise sales cycles, designing and implementing account-specific strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor for NetBox Labs' solutions. The position involves conducting technical product demonstrations, running proofs of concept, and translating complex technical solutions into clear value propositions for customers.
The ideal candidate should have experience selling enterprise SaaS or Open Source SaaS offerings to Network Engineering teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Knowledge of Python and cloud APIs is highly valued.
