Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing Java-based software and/or web frontends with state-of-the-art frameworks as part of an agile team
• Actively participating in the entire software lifecycle – from analysis through architecture, implementation, quality assurance to integration and production support
• Reviewing requirements and developing or critically questioning them where necessary
• Ensuring that your team's results meet high quality standards through reviews and other appropriate measures
• Making long-term architectural decisions, considering technical, commercial, and organizational aspects
• Encouraging and challenging less experienced engineers in your team

The ideal candidate should have:

• Several years of experience as a Senior Engineer in agile software development
• Solid knowledge of Java-based systems and openness to new technologies
• Extensive experience with common development tools in the Java world
• Ability to use technical and methodological skills to solve complex software tasks
• Willingness to take responsibility in projects
• Ability to recognize team members' skills and support them in developing their potential
• Fluent communication skills in German and English (level C1 or higher)
• A degree in computer science or a related field (minimum Bachelor's level)
