Description For Analytics Engineer (L5) - Content & Studio - EMEA

Netflix is seeking an Analytics Engineer (L5) for the Content & Studio - EMEA team. This role, based in Amsterdam, will be part of the Content & Media ML Foundations team within Data Science and Engineering. The position involves owning and delivering insights that directly inform ML strategy across model performance, improvements, and new applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with ML practitioners to develop tooling for model performance insights, partnering with platform teams for analytical support, and driving insights that shape long-term execution roadmaps. The ideal candidate should have strong relationship-building skills, experience with ML models, expertise in data-oriented programming languages, and the ability to work across different cultures on a globally-distributed team.   • Expertise in Python, SQL, and dashboard/visualization design (e.g., Tableau)
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and data warehousing
  • Experience working across different cultures on globally-distributed teams
