Description For Analytics Engineer (L5) - Regional Understanding

Netflix is seeking an Analytics Engineer (L5) for Regional Understanding. In this role, you'll dive deep into different regions and countries to answer crucial questions about Netflix's members and non-members. You'll develop data pipelines, conduct in-depth analyses, and create tools to provide insights on consumer-facing opportunities and challenges at both company and country levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Becoming an expert in country-level performance
  • Spearheading research on consumer-facing opportunities and challenges
  • Scaling insights across different regions and globally
  • Sharing learnings with high-level leaders in a digestible, actionable manner

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an analytics professional
  • Expertise in SQL, programming skills (e.g., Python, Scala), and ETL concepts
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship building abilities
  • Enthusiasm for creative thinking and innovation
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive with minimal oversight
