As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for building sophisticated data processing systems and models that power analytics across various domains including Growth, Finance, Product, Content, and Studio. The role combines technical expertise in distributed systems with data modeling, requiring proficiency in languages like Java, Scala, or Python, and strong SQL skills.

The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $170,000 to $720,000, with the flexibility to choose your preferred mix of salary and stock options. Responsibilities For Data Engineer (L5)
- Build systems to process data efficiently
- Model data to power analytics

- Create new product features using data

Requirements For Data Engineer (L5)
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, Scala, Python) and SQL
- Strong background in distributed data processing, software engineering of data services, or data modeling
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Flink
- Experience working with web-scale datasets
- Strong data intuition and passion for data quality
- Good documentation and data debugging skills
- Comfortable working in rapidly changing environment with ambiguous requirements
