Data Engineering Intern, Summer 2025

This role is situated within the Data & Insights team, where you'll work on the company's cloud infrastructure primarily built on AWS.

As a Data Engineering Intern, you'll be fully embedded within a team, working on developing frameworks and tools to enhance the quality and usability of platform data products. The position offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and the chance to tackle complex data challenges in a real-world setting.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, with Master's being preferred. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Scala, or Java, along with SQL proficiency, are essential. You should have a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms, and previous experience with ETL jobs or data modeling would be valuable.

The internship program runs for 12 weeks, starting in May or June 2025, and offers competitive compensation ranging from $40 to $110 per hour. You'll be working from either the Los Gatos, CA, or Los Angeles, CA office, depending on team placement.
