About the Role

• Work on Data Platform teams enabling data-driven decisions across Netflix
• Focus on Big Data Warehouse, Iceberg, Online Data Stores, and Data Movement Platforms
• Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable data stores and connectors
• Contribute to open-source projects, including the Iceberg table format

Key Responsibilities

• Solve large-scale business needs using software engineering and analytical skills
• Architect and build robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across teams
• Contribute to Netflix OSS and share experiences with open source communities

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful web services
• Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Comfortable with multi-threading challenges
• BS in Computer Science or related field
