Full Stack Software Engineer, L5 - Growth Delivery and Operations

Netflix is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (L5) for their Growth Delivery and Operations team. This role is part of Growth Engineering, responsible for driving Netflix's subscriber base growth and increasing value from each member. The team focuses on acquisition, retention, plans and pricing, user identity, customer support, and foundational systems for billing and payments processing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing optimized CI/CD processes
• Automating deployments from commit to production
• Developing robust testing strategies
• Creating tooling for smooth developer experience
• Improving developer productivity
• Implementing comprehensive observability for consumer-facing applications

The ideal candidate should have:

• 6+ years of professional experience in CI/CD strategies
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Ability to define testing strategies
• Passion for solving developer productivity challenges
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Additional desired qualities:

• Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership
• Deep understanding of automation tools and frameworks
• Experience with Chaos Engineering principles
• Full stack development skills (JS/TS and Java)
