Fullstack Engineer L5, Observability - Exploration and Troubleshooting

Netflix is seeking a Fullstack Engineer L5 for their Observability - Exploration and Troubleshooting team. This role is part of the Observability engineering group, which provides the platform and suite of products that allow Netflix engineers to understand how their services behave in real-time, detect anomalies in system health, and troubleshoot and remediate problems. The platform processes billions of data points in real-time every minute.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will:

• Work across a suite of products to deliver a best-in-class observability experience
• Combine numerous observability signals into usable, actionable insights
• Represent the team to Observability sister teams: Telemetry and Monitoring
• Design, build, and operate API layers that support various front-end user experiences
• Work with React and TypeScript for frontend development
• Own all areas of the software lifecycle: design, development, test, deploy, operate, and support

Key requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in high-scale, modern tech-driven companies
• Full-stack development experience, with expertise in both backend and frontend
• Proficiency in GraphQL and Node.js
• Experience with API development and maintenance
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work on ambiguous problems and drive alignment
• Deep sense of ownership and pride in delivering great work
