Netflix is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer L5 to join their team in revolutionizing entertainment for over 270 million members across 190+ countries. As a Network Deployment Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in deploying network infrastructure that powers everything from corporate offices to creative spaces like studios, post-production facilities, live broadcast facilities, and animation hubs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, planning, and deploying network infrastructure at corporate and studio locations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and implement solutions
  • Directing remote hands vendors in planning, configuring, and installing network devices
  • Designing optimal wireless layouts and conducting post-install site surveys
  • Producing bills of materials and managing inventory for efficient deployments
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation for network configurations and deployments
  • Overseeing vendor relationships and managing contract commitments
  • Collaborating on long-term solutions to enhance network infrastructure
  • Driving improvements in network management tools and automation processes
  • Leading complex network upgrades and migrations
  • Providing mentorship and technical leadership to team members

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols, switching, routing, and Wi-Fi technologies
  • Proficiency in version control, configuration management, and network automation
  • Experience with Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, JunOS, and Mist
  • Ability to work across time zones and travel for quarterly offsites and project site visits
