Principal Engineer, Games Experience Engineering

Netflix is reinventing entertainment by enabling and innovating visual storytelling production, discovery, and enjoyment. As a Principal Engineer in Games Experience Engineering, you'll be at the forefront of creating a new games platform. This role involves building out the games platform, including member experience, developer experience, and game play services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of large-scale game platform features
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
• Drive end-to-end architectural designs
• Partner with Directors of Technology on technical challenges
• Mentor and assist in career development of others

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 13+ years of professional software development experience
• 8+ years of experience in architecture and design of systems
• Proven track record in developing systems for games
• Expert knowledge of client and server side development
• Excellent communication skills
