Security Software Engineer 5

Netflix, a global entertainment powerhouse serving 283 million paid memberships across 190+ countries, is seeking a Security Software Engineer 5 to join their Platform Security team. This role is integral to maintaining the security infrastructure that protects Netflix's streaming service, games, and studio operations.

The Platform Security Team is responsible for building and maintaining foundational security services, including cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and workload identity. As a Security Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing secure-by-default infrastructure that enables rapid innovation while maintaining robust security standards.

Your primary focus will be on the workload identity service, managing identities for applications, hardware, and other entities. You'll also contribute to cryptography and PKI certificate services, and participate in an on-call rotation once familiar with the systems.
