Netflix is seeking a Security Software Engineer to join their Engineering Controls Automation Team (ECAT). This role focuses on building and advancing the engineering security controls automation charter, with a primary goal of reducing the risk of software vulnerabilities in Netflix's vast engineering ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver reliable software to scalably resolve impactful security risks
- Work cross-functionally with teams across Netflix Security Engineering and Platform Engineering
- Drive impactful change and risk reduction
- Take an engineering-first approach to security risk management
Desired Background:
- Strong experience in software development and delivery, primarily in Python (PySpark experience is a bonus)
- Proven ability to drive security engineering solutions and reduce security risk at scale
- History of shaping and delivering thoughtful end-to-end software solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues cross-functionally
- Experience with data analysis and insights
- Familiarity with system design and architecture
