The role requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years as a Security Incident Commander. Responsibilities For Security Software Engineer (L5), Security Incident Response Team
- Support, maintain and improve incident orchestration tool Dispatch
- Build and maintain data pipelines
- Develop tools and solutions for incident management and digital forensics at scale
- Act as an Incident Commander on the security incident response team
- Lead security incident response
- Apply lessons learned to improve incident handling and resolution
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to expand incident management tooling
Requirements For Security Software Engineer (L5), Security Incident Response Team
- At least 5 years of experience building with Python, JavaScript, and frameworks for building APIs and user interfaces
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Incident Management as a Security Incident Commander
- Experience with designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting applications in cloud production environments
- Familiarity with data engineering principles, ETL pipelines, system design and architecture
- Experience with big data platforms and relational database management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively across teams and disciplines in ambiguous environments
