Netflix's Boss Fight Entertainment studio is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their game analytics team. This role is crucial in supporting end-to-end analytics and data needs for their games portfolio. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$600,000 and comprehensive benefits package.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining data pipelines, conducting player behavior analysis, and creating impactful visualizations using Tableau. They will work closely with development teams to integrate analytics into game development processes and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in video game analytics, with expertise in SQL and programming languages like Python. Strong understanding of player behavior, game telemetry, and the gaming industry is essential. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with core hours from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.

Responsibilities For Senior Analytics Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large complex data sets
- Conduct detailed player behavior analysis, including segmentation, churn analysis, and player retention
- Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau
- Work closely with development team to integrate data analytics into game development processes
- Mentor other analytics team members
- Communicate with stakeholders across the organization providing insights
- Partner with Director/Lead to drive best practices
- Develop and maintain understanding of games and market
Requirements For Senior Analytics Engineer
- Expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, Scala)
- Strong data visualization skills using Tableau or similar software
- Deep understanding of player behavior, game telemetry, and gaming industry
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- 5+ years of analytics engineering experience in video game analytics
- Thorough understanding of big data principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with AWS Redshift (nice to have)
- Experience with Git, Perforce, or other source control systems (nice to have)
