The position involves leading experimentation and advanced data science initiatives, working closely with Game studio stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions through predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and business insights generation. You'll be instrumental in shaping decision-making processes through statistical validation and experimental design.

The ideal candidate brings a unique combination of gaming industry experience and strong quantitative expertise, with either a PhD and 5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 8+ years in relevant fields. Technical proficiency in SQL, Python or R is essential, along with strong statistical skills in A/B testing and modeling.

  • Partner with Game stakeholders on advanced analytic initiatives

Requirements For Senior Data Scientist (L5), Games

Python
  • 2 years of experience working in the Games industry as a Data Scientist
  • PhD degree with 5 years experience or Master's degree with 8+ years in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant quantitative field
  • Statistical skills in A/B testing, analyzing observational data, and statistical modeling
  • Experience working with large data sets and analyzing complex data with SQL and Python or R
  • Good business acumen on product innovations
  • Strong bias to action, delivering results quickly with iteration
  • Fast learner comfortable with ambiguous requests
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willing to mentor junior data scientists
