As a Senior Engineering Manager for the Compute team, you'll lead a talented group of engineering managers and engineers in developing and implementing comprehensive compute strategies that underpin all of Netflix's cloud operations. - Drive the vision and strategy on how to evolve our Compute platform
- Build, scale, and mentor a cohesive team of amazing engineers and leaders
- Form strong cross-functional partnerships to achieve alignment with many engineering teams
- Balance competing priorities across multiple cross-functional stakeholders and programs
- Drive large initiatives to completion in tandem with partner and peer organizations
Requirements For Senior Engineering Manager - Compute
- Self-motivated exceptional people leader with experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems at scale
- Focus on delighting customers with amazing user experiences and customer service
- Experience working with and operating production compute infrastructure systems at large scale
- Strong experience with strategic prioritization
- Product driven mindset and previous experience working with Product and Program Management
