Senior Software Engineer, Partner Engineering - SPL APAC - Singapore

Netflix, the world's leading entertainment service with 283 million paid memberships globally, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Partner Engineering team in Singapore. This role is crucial for delivering and maintaining the Netflix experience on millions of playback devices worldwide, particularly focusing on the APAC region.

The position serves as a technical bridge between Netflix and engineering teams of Operator and CE partners in Asia Pacific. You'll be representing Netflix engineering to partners while also advocating for partners' interests internally. This role is particularly impactful as significant subscriber growth comes through APAC operator partnerships.

The role demands a full-stack understanding of the Netflix experience, from streaming device ecosystems to B2B payment APIs. Daily responsibilities vary widely – from diagnosing playback issues through device logs and source code analysis to troubleshooting partner payment systems through REST API examination.

While not a traditional coding-heavy role, strong software engineering fundamentals are essential for engaging effectively with both internal and external engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a drive for process improvement.
