Responsibilities For Software Engineer 5 - Partner Engineering

  • Work with external partners to integrate, test, deploy, and improve Netflix streaming application, content discovery APIs, and billing integration APIs
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables over multiple partner engagements
  • Test partner devices using in-house testing suite
  • Collaborate with data analytics team to resolve post-launch payment API and playback issues
  • Represent partner needs and feedback to product and engineering teams
  • Implement process and tooling improvements

  • Experience with streaming devices and embedded systems
  • Experience with streaming device operating systems (Linux, Android) and middleware
  • Ability and willingness to travel to regional partners
