Description For Software Engineer (L4) - Continuous Integration

Netflix is seeking a Software Engineer (L4) for their Continuous Integration team. The role involves managing and evolving Netflix's CI platform, which includes Jenkins-based infrastructure across 30+ controllers and 1000+ build agents. Key responsibilities include driving feature work, maintaining Jenkins and build agents, collaborating with other Platform teams, supporting cross-organization critical change campaigns, and evaluating new technologies to improve rapid application development tooling. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, collaborative, and passionate about solving developer productivity challenges at enterprise scale. Experience with Java or JVM languages, CI systems, microservice architectures, and API design (particularly GraphQL) is highly valued. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evolve Netflix's Continuous Integration platform
  • Operate and maintain Jenkins and its build agents
