Netflix, a global entertainment powerhouse with 278 million paid memberships, is seeking a Software Engineer (L4) for their Trust & Safety team. This role is integral to the Trust Services and Enforcement team, focusing on building and operating production-quality systems for fraud detection and prevention at Netflix scale.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on critical security systems that protect Netflix's vast user base from various threats including account takeover, service abuse, customer-targeted scams, DDoS, content theft, and games trust & safety issues. As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and performance of fraud services while ensuring the platform stays ahead of sophisticated adversaries.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of Java backend development experience and a strong foundation in networking concepts. This role combines project-based development with operational coverage, requiring someone who can balance immediate needs with long-term strategic goals. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $720,000, with the flexibility to choose between salary and stock options.
