Netflix, a global entertainment leader with 283 million subscribers, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Ads Inventory Management & Forecasting team. This role is part of Netflix's strategic expansion into advertising, following their ad-supported tier launch in 2022. The position focuses on building sophisticated advertising systems that power ad delivery while maintaining an optimal viewing experience.

The role involves developing state-of-the-art realtime inventory forecasting solutions using ML models and high-performance ad server simulations. You'll work on systems enabling publisher inventory management, supporting various monetization strategies including dynamic pricing, rate card management, and yield optimization.

As part of the Ads Platform Engineering teams, you'll contribute to Netflix's newest venture in the Connected TV advertising space. The team aims to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix in the market. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and handle data at extremely large volumes using tools like Spark.
