Description For UI Engineer (L4/L5) - Content Promotion & Distribution Engineering

Netflix, a global entertainment powerhouse serving 283 million subscribers across 190+ countries, is seeking a UI Engineer for their Content Promotion & Distribution Engineering team. This role is crucial in building products that manage Netflix's global entertainment catalog and next-generation off-service experiences.

As a UI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of creating sophisticated interfaces that power content tagging, maturity ratings management, and immersive fan experiences. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including React, GraphQL, and the Hawkins Design System, while collaborating closely with UX Designers and Product Managers to create intuitive, scalable solutions.

  • Build, test, deploy, and launch UIs that operationalize workflows at scale
  • Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight
  • Evaluate new technologies and approaches to improve rapid application development
  • Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
  • Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to stakeholders
  • Work with Hawkins Design System and contribute to reusable components
  • Build products for managing global entertainment catalog and off-service experiences
