Netflix, a global entertainment leader serving 283 million paid memberships across 190+ countries, is seeking a UI Engineer L5 for their Business Intelligence Engineering team. This role is part of an engineering organization focused on developing and maintaining data storytelling products, particularly within the Finance Data Universe.

The position offers an opportunity to work on critical systems that serve as company-wide sources of truth, encompassing various aspects of Netflix's finances including revenue, forecasting, expenses, content finance lifecycle, payments, and FX natural hedging. The team is also expanding into other domains such as Talent, GenAI, Ads, and more.

As a UI Engineer, you'll collaborate with Data Engineers and Analytical Engineers to create comprehensive data stories through interconnected, high-performance web applications. Your role will involve leading the development of advanced data visualizations, ensuring intuitive user interfaces, and managing complex data flows effectively.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about building beautiful web applications focused on data visualization and exploration, using modern technologies like Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and D3.js. You'll work on some of Netflix's most utilized internal tools, collaborating with both creative and business stakeholders to iterate on designs based on user feedback.

  • Experience working with data-centric teams on metrics and analytics
