Netflix's Business Intelligence Engineering team is seeking a UI Engineer to join their engineering organization dedicated to developing and maintaining robust data storytelling products. The team focuses on the Finance Data Universe, encompassing all aspects of Netflix's finances, including revenue, forecasting, expenses, content finance lifecycle, payments, and FX natural hedging. They are expanding their framework to other areas like Talent, GenAI, Ads, and more.
As a UI Engineer, you'll work alongside Data Engineers and Analytical Engineers to create comprehensive data stories through interconnected, high-performance web applications. You'll be responsible for developing advanced data visualizations, ensuring intuitive user interfaces, and managing complex data flows.
The role offers the opportunity to work on some of Netflix's most used internal tools, bringing together multiple data sources, metrics, and predictive analytics. You'll collaborate with creative and business stakeholders to iterate on designs based on user feedback and partner with R&D teams to integrate new metrics, models, and data sources.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about building beautiful web apps focused on data explanation and exploration, with expertise in Node.js, front-end JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue.js, and D3.js. You should have a strong background in making complex data intuitive and useful to broad audiences, with experience in working with various data sources and analytics teams.
