Description For UI Engineer (L5) - Revenue Infrastructure

Netflix, a global entertainment leader serving 283 million paid memberships across 190+ countries, is seeking a UI Engineer (L5) for their Revenue Finance Infrastructure team in Warsaw. This role focuses on developing scalable systems to optimize revenue financial workflows, with a particular emphasis on creating interactive backend systems and flexible user interfaces. The immediate focus is on building self-service functionality for Netflix's Ads Revenue Management Platform, with plans to expand to other revenue areas.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including GraphQL, Node.js, and Electron frameworks, while collaborating with a cross-functional team of Backend and UI engineers, product designers, and product managers. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, passionate about user experience, and experienced in building enterprise-level applications.

Working in a hybrid model from Warsaw, you'll be responsible for building new services, tools, and data models, participating in product reviews, evaluating new technologies, and contributing to the on-call rotation. This role is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, embraces best practices, and has experience in both financial use cases and the Media and Entertainment industry.

Responsibilities For UI Engineer (L5) - Revenue Infrastructure

  • Work cross-functionally to build new services, tools, and data models to operationalize workflows at scale
  • Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight
  • Help scope, estimate, and prioritize between conflicting needs
  • Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline and improve rapid application development
  • Regularly learn new systems and tools as the Netflix platform evolves
  • Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident reviews

  • Previous experience working with designers/PMs
