Your role will be crucial in developing and testing next-generation human-ready Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems. You'll conduct daily sessions with clinical trial participants, analyzing complex data sets including behavior, BCI performance, and electrophysiological data to drive R&D decisions. The position involves direct interaction with trial participants, helping them master new tasks and features while gathering valuable feedback for continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone with a strong scientific background, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical proficiency in Python. Experience with physiological data collection and clinical studies is highly valued. Responsibilities For BCI Field Engineer

  • Run daily sessions with clinical trial participants to test new neural decoding algorithms
  • Analyze data and drive insights that guide R&D decisions
  • Develop new experimental setups and assist in training participants
  • Participate in clinical trial sessions, which might require travel
  • Support participants with issues and bugs during BCI use
  • Gather feedback and feature requests from participants
  • Assist participants with setting up their environment
  • Run non-human primate (NHP) BCI research sessions

Requirements For BCI Field Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in science or related field (neuroscience, biology, engineering, physics, software), or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Proven ability coding in Python
