Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Designing, developing, validating, and shipping complex mechanical assemblies for surgical robots
  • Conducting FMEAs, user testing, and making the safest product possible
  • Working with QA and Test teams to define release criteria, verification and validation tests
  • Developing manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for in-house production
  • Working with contract manufacturers and vendors for outsourced production
  • Providing mentorship and support to junior engineers

Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles
  • Experience owning an assembly or product from concept through production
