BI Data Engineer (Hybrid)

Nexxen is seeking an experienced BI Data Engineer to join their growing team in Tel Aviv. This role involves defining, developing, and managing the BI dataset, as well as architecting, implementing, and managing data models, ELTs, and ETLs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical designs for scalable data pipelines. They will be responsible for end-to-end BI development, from design to production, and will provide direction on best practices for architecture, dimensional modeling, and large-scale ETL/ELT. Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end BI development and ownership
• Develop and manage BI data pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs
• Design and build scalable data analytics
• Provide guidance on best practices for architecture and data modeling
• Write complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Research core technologies and API integrations

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience as a BI Developer/ETL Developer/BI Architect
• Deep understanding of BI concepts
• Vast experience with database query languages and design
• 2+ years in Python development (Java is an advantage)
• Experience with ETL tools (Talend, Airflow)
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
