Nielsen, a leader in media measurement and audience engagement, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Digital SDK teams. This role spans across US and India operations, focusing on building SDKs for content measurement as part of Nielsen's Audience Measurement.

The position offers an opportunity to work on complex entitlement systems for web applications, where you'll be responsible for developing and integrating backend services and APIs.   • Work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, robust APIs
  • Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
  • Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
  • Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
  • Optimize internal and external applications for performance and scalability
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and project managers regarding progress
  • Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantages of custom development and purchased alternatives
