Software Engineer - (Java/Python, Sencha Ext JS, Oracle, Postgres, Spring boot, AWS)

As a Software Engineer at Nielsen, you will be working with a diverse set of technologies and platforms. Your role will involve:

1. Developing and maintaining applications using Java, Python, and Sencha Ext JS.
2. Working with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and Sybase, utilizing strong SQL programming skills.
3. Leveraging cloud technologies, particularly AWS services like EBS, EFS, ECS, EKS, ASG, ECR, S3, Lambda, ALBs, NLBs, and Route53.
4. Implementing continuous integration and deployment automation using tools like Gitlab and Terraform.
5. Working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
6. Integrating workflows with Apache Airflow and messaging technologies like JMS.
7. Building, managing, and monitoring RDS-based Postgres databases.
8. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to implement solutions and provide troubleshooting assistance.
